Mines Women's Club Soccer is back in action this weekend with a pair of matchups against Colorado State University and the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs.
The Orediggers will open the weekend at home on Saturday, Sept. 19, when they take on Colorado State at 5 p.m. at the Clear Creek Athletic Complex. Mines will look to take advantage of playing at home while continuing to build momentum as the season progresses.
After Saturday's matchup, Mines will hit the road Sunday, Sept. 20, for a game against UCCS in Colorado Springs. The quick turnaround will challenge the Orediggers to stay focused and bring the same energy into their second game of the weekend.
The two-game weekend will give Mines a chance to continue developing its chemistry and compete against two Colorado opponents. With limited time between games, the Orediggers will look to make the most of each opportunity and finish the weekend strong.
Mines kicks off against Colorado State at 5 p.m. Saturday before traveling to Colorado Springs to face UCCS on Sunday.
