MONTROSE, Colo. - Colorado School of Mines is in the mix after two rounds at the San Juan Intercollegiate, sitting in fourth place following Monday's play.

The Orediggers shot team rounds of 280 and 278 to land at -10, two shots back of second-place Western New Mexico with Colorado Mesa sitting between them at -11. Colorado Christian holds a healthy team lead at -27.

A trio of Orediggers - Liam Allan, Giacomo Gaggero, and Zach Shallat - led the way on Monday with all three tying for 12th at -3 on the par-71 course at The Bridges. Both Allan and Shallat turned in cards of 70-69 and Gaggero 69-70 to get under par; Mines' fourth counter in the first round was Davis Kushner's even-par 71, with Enzo Martínez's 70 counting in the afternoon after his first-round 72 with Kushner shooting 76 in the second round. Martínez stands T24 at even par, and Kushner is T52 at +4.

Mines has six individuals on course, as well, led by senior Charlie Tran, whose rounds of 71 and 74 have him tied for 47th at +3. Freshman Óli Bjarkason debuted with rounds of 71-75 (+4) to be tied for 50th, with Devin Nguyen (+8, T62), Mitch Stock (+8, T62), Alexander Samuelsson (+11, 68th), and Eric Casademont Vinyoles (+18, 73rd) rounding out Mines' individuals.

CCU teammates Bradley Mulder and Lance Christensen Jr. share the individual lead at -10, with Colorado Mesa's Henry Starr third at -8.

Tuesday's final round goes off at 9 a.m.
