Biography

2024: Received a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering in May 2024 ... Medically retired from baseball prior to the season, but still served as a student-assistant coach throughout the year.

2023: Continued his career as a collegiate relief pitcher, making 11 appearances out of the bullpen for the Orediggers ... Posted a 2-0 record and a 7.84 ERA for the season thanks to nine strikeouts compared to three walks across 20.2 innings of work ... Improved to 6-1 for his career with a 5.11 ERA after three seasons ... First win of the season was on Feb. 12 at #21 Cal Poly Pomona which he earned thanks to one run on two hits in 1.1 innings of relief ... Earned his other win in his final appearance of 2023, tossing 4.0 innings of relief at UCCS resulting in seven runs on nine hits with one strikeout and one walk ... Had three scoreless appearances ... Arguably his best outing was 3.1 innings of three-hit, shutout baseball against New Mexico Highlands on April 2 including two strikeouts and zero walks ... Also notable were flawless innings out of the bullpen against New Mexico Highlands and against NCAA Division I Northern Colorado.

2022: Relief pitcher for Mines coming exclusively out of the bullpen with 15 appearances on the season ... Finished the spring 3-0 with a 3.93 ERA thanks to nine strikeouts compared to four walks across 18.1 innings of work ... Top performance of the season was arguably 3.1 innings of releif against Colorado Christian on March 26 which resulted in zero earned runs on two hits with zero walks and one strikeout ... Also tossed 3.0 innings at CSU Pueblo on March 18 ... Struck out two batters on two occasions ... Produced seven scoreless outings ... ERA ranked third on the team among regular pitchers and second among relievers.

2021: NCBWA Regional Pitcher of the Week (5/12) ... RMAC Pitcher of the Week (5/11) ... Primarily a relief pitcher for the Orediggers with 10 appearances out of the bullpen and one start ... Ranked second on the team with 11 total appearances on the year ... Finished the season with a record of 1-1 and a 3.57 ERA while striking out 19 batters in 22.2 innings ... Collegiate debut was a 3.0-inning relief appearance against MSU Denver on March 6 that featured zero earned runs on two hits and six strikeouts ... Best performance of the year included 5.2 innings of three-hit, shutout relief with five strikeouts and two walks against UCCS on May 8 in his first collegiate win ... First collegiate win capped a seven-day run which included a total of 9.2 innings over the course of three appearances resulting in just one earned run and six hits with six strikeouts ... Lone start of the year was at CSU Pueblo on March 20 where he lasted 2.1 innings while giving up two earned runs and five hits with one strikeout.
