2021: Utility player for the Orediggers with appearances at third base, designated hitter and on the mound ... Led the team with 38 hits and two triples as a true freshman ... Ranked second on the team with 19 runs, nine doubles, three home runs and 20 RBI ... Appeared in all 30 games for Mines with 29 starts ... Finished the season hitting .342 and slugging .541 at the plate ... Also went 0-2 with one save and an 11.88 ERA on the mound in four relief appearances and two starts, striking out seven batters in 8.1 innings of work ... Collegiate debut was a pinch-hit performance against MSU Denver in the season opener on March 5 in the only game he did not start all season ... Pitching debut was a start against MSU Denver on March 6 in which he recorded his first collegiate strikeout despite seven runs on four hits in 0.2 innings ... Top performance of the year was arguably in the Senior Day doubleheader against UCCS on May 8 in which he came a triple short of hitting for the cycle in game two and went 2-for-4 in game one with a double and a triple to hit for the cylce on the day ... HIGH SCHOOL: Two-sport athlete at Columbine High School competing in baseball and football with five varsity letters … Appeared at shortstop, center field and pitcher for the baseball team and played linebacker and wing for the football team … As a sophomore, hit .395 with 25 hits and 20 RBI including six home runs … On the mound, tossed 36 innings with a 3.89 ERA and 40 strikeouts … Named Second-Team Jeffco All-Conference in baseball and First-Team Jeffco All-Conference in football … Played club ball for Cherry Creek and coach Marc Johnson … Academic All-State honoree with High Honors Distinction and a member of the National Honor Society … Plans to major in mechanical engineering at Mines with hopes to minor in computer science.
