2018: RMAC Academic Honor Roll ... Started 23 games with 39 appearances, switching between catcher and designated hitter ... Batted .258 with 10 runs on 23 hits with six doubles and two triples ... drove in 11 runs with 10 walks and was hit three times ... Season-best game vs. CSU-Pueblo in the RMAC Tournament, going 2-for-2 with three RBI and a triple.

2017: RMAC Academic Honor Roll member … Appeared in 31 games with 26 starts at catcher and DH … Hit .353 … Drove in 19 RBI with two home runs and four doubles … Scored 19 runs … Walked eight times … Had two sacrifices … Stole one base … Was perfect behind the plate, going error-free with 16 assists in 115 chances … Threw out seven base stealers in 16 attempts.

2016: RMAC Academic Honor Roll... made 22 starts over 30 appearances while primarily playing catcher… batted .282 on the season with 28 hits, 17 runs, six doubles, two triples, a homer and 19 RBI… had a .991 fielding % and had 17 assists… threw out five would be base stealers… posted eight multi-hit games… had four multi-RBI outings… had a perfect 4-for-4 hitting performance in a 10-7 win over NMHU (4/3)… drove in three runs in a 10-6 victory over CCU (3/12).

2015: Appeared in 27 games with 15 starts as a true freshman … Hit .200 with 6 RBI in 60 at-bats … Walked five times and was 1-for-1 on steals … Had a .971 fielding percentage.

High School: Jones, a 5-10,185-pound catcher, lettered twice in baseball as a prep for head coach Ron Eastman and The Woodlands High School. He hit .400 as a junior and led his team to the 2013 Texas 5A State Championship.Also played club baseball for the Houston Heat and hit .426 for head coach Tim Price. He is a Perfect Game National Top 500 Prospect and a member of the National Honor Society. Also a four-year academic letterman, Jones and his 4.0 grade point average plan to major in Petroleum Engineering at Mines.
