2019: Honorable Mention All-RMAC … NFFCC Honorable Mention Academic All-Colorado … Started nine times at cornerback before suffering a season-ending injury at South Dakota Mines … Made 21 tackles with 0.5 TFL … Broke up 10 passes … Recovered a fumble against Fort Lewis … Had four break-ups in that SDSMT game … Also had two PBUs at CSU-Pueblo.

2018: Honorable Mention All-RMAC … NFFCC First-Team Academic All-Colorado … Started at cornerback in his first season at Mines … Produced 47 total tackles (22 solo) with one for a loss … Second in the RMAC with 16 passes defended including 14 break-ups … Had two interceptions, both against Fort Lewis … Broke up at least one pass in eight different games with a season-high three at Dixie State … Made a season-high six tackles versus CSU-Pueblo in the regular season and Azusa Pacific.

2017 (at Wyoming): Missed the season due to injury.

2016 (at Wyoming): Makransky appeared in one game seeing time against BYU in the Poinsettia Bowl. He recorded one tackle against the Cougars.

2015 (at Wyoming): Makransky appeared in eight games at cornerback for the Pokes earning two starts. In his first career start against North Dakota, he recorded a career-high eight tackles. He finished the season with 10 total tackles with six solo stops and four assisted tackles. He also added tackles against Colorado State and San Diego State. He was named to the Academic All-Conference team for his work in the classroom. 

2014 (at Wyoming): Redshirted. 

High School: Makransky was a three-year letterwinner at Friendswood (Texas) ... He helped his team to a 9-3 record as a senior earning All-District honors ... Finished his senior season with three interceptions.
