2012: Named First Team All-RMAC... Second Team Don Hansen Gazette All-Super Region Four selection... First Team NFFCC All-Colorado selection... Appeared in nine games with nine starts… Mines' offense was featured on the front page of the USA Today Sports section during the 2012 season (Full Article). The Orediggers averaged 84 plays and 455.7 yards per game, the latter placing the squad 23rd nationally for the category. The offense averaged 366.09 passing yards per game (fifth nationally) and 39.27 points per game (15th nationally). QB Matt Brown finished fifth in the nation in total offense per game (364.82) and fifth in passing yards per game (352.1).

2011: Second Team NFF All-Colorado… Third Team All-RMAC… Appeared in 11 games with 11 starts… Graded out at 87 on 92 scale… Mines offense led the conference and finished eighth nationally with 305.9 yards per game… Mines offense finished 42nd nationally with 31.6 points per game… Mines offense finished 48th nationally with 401.6 yards of total offense per game… Quarterback Clay Garcia led conference in passing yards (3,123) and running back Dan Palmer led the conference in rushing yards per game (92.4).

2010: Played in five games (no starts).

2009: Played in four games as a reserve on the Oredigger offensive line...Member of an offensive line that anchored the top-ranked passing offense (356.3 ypg) in the RMAC...Helped guide a CSM offense that was ranked second in the RMAC in scoring (33.1 ppg), total offense (431.0 ypg) and passing efficiency (148.7).

2008: Redshirted during his first season at CSM.

High School: Earned two letters on the football team...An Honorable Mention All-Conference selection following his junior year...A Second Team All-Conference pick and team captain as a senior...Earned a pair of letters on the track & field squad...Competed in lacrosse.
