Colorado School of Mines Club Soccer & Lacrosse – Stermole Field 

Colorado School of Mines Club Sports looks forward to hosting this weekend's games at Stermole Field. Please read this in detail as it contains important information regarding policies, parking, and other frequently asked questions. 

Facility Policies 

Facility policies exist to keep spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes safe. Anyone present at games, in any capacity, is expected to follow all policies. Failure to follow facility policies may result in removal from the facility. 

  • No spectators or fans may enter the field or track area. Spectators and fans are only allowed on the bleachers. 

  • Alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs are not allowed. Anyone under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs will be removed from the premises. 

  • Glass containers are not allowed. 

  • Dogs are not allowed, except for service dogs. Documentation for service dogs must be shown when asked. 

  • In the event of inclement weather, all spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes must follow the directions of Club Sports staff. 

Parking 

On the parking map above, parking lots can be found in pink at G2/3 and E2/3. Darden Baseball Field can be found in light blue at G1/2. 

Visitor parking at Colorado School of Mines is paid Monday through Friday, 7am to 5pm. This includes holidays and school breaks. Follow all parking signs. 

The closest parking lots to Stermole Field are Lot K and Lot Q. 

  • Lot K is located at the intersection of 11th Street and Maple Street. Enter the drive-in. The gates should automatically rise – if not, the lot is closed. Park in a designated parking spot. 

  • Lot Q is located on West Campus Road. If entering campus from 19th Street, take Elm Street to West Campus Road and turn left – the parking lot will be on your right. If entering campus from Washington Avenue, take 11th, 12th, or 13th Street to Maple Street and turn right onto West Campus Road – the parking lot will be on your right. Park in a designated parking spot or in-line with vehicles already parked. 

Colorado School of Mines Club Rugby – IM North Field

Facility Policies 

Facility policies exist to keep spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes safe. Anyone present at games, in any capacity, is expected to follow all policies. Failure to follow facility policies may result in removal from the facility. 

  • No spectators or fans may enter the field area. Spectators are required to remain behind the ropes on the west end of the facility. 

  • Alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs are not allowed. Anyone under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs will be removed from the premises. 

  • Glass containers are not allowed. 

  • Dogs are not allowed, except for service dogs. Documentation for service dogs must be shown when asked. Any dogs present must remain on leashes, supervised, on the hill above the west side of the field. 

  • In the event of inclement weather, all spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes must follow the directions of Club Sports staff. 

Parking 

On the parking map above, the closest parking lot can be found in pink at D2/3. IM North Field can be found in light blue at E2/3.

Facility Policies 

Facility policies exist to keep spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes safe. Anyone present at games, in any capacity, is expected to follow all policies. Failure to follow facility policies may result in removal from the facility. 

  • No spectators or fans may enter the court area or upstairs track. Spectators and fans are only allowed on the bleachers in Lockridge Arena and the second court in the Rec Gym. 

  • Alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs are not allowed. Anyone under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs will be removed from the premises. 

  • Glass containers are not allowed. Crockpots, large amounts of food, and potluck-like items are not allowed.  

  • Food may be consumed in the SRC Lounge (seating area outside of Lockridge Arena) or in the bleachers of Lockridge Arena. No food may be brought into or consumed in the Rec Gym. 

  • Dogs are not allowed, except for service dogs. Documentation for service dogs must be shown when asked. 

  • No unauthorized people may go through alarm doors. Going through an alarmed door will cause an alarm to go off through the entire building.

Colorado School of Mines Club Ice Hockey – Apex Ice Arena 

Colorado School of Mines Club Sports looks forward to hosting this weekend's series at Apex Ice Arena. Please read this in detail as it contains important information regarding policies, parking, and other frequently asked questions. 

Facility Policies 

Facility policies exist to keep spectators, fans, coaches, officials, and student-athletes safe. Anyone present at games, in any capacity, is expected to follow all policies. Failure to follow facility policies may result in removal from the facility. 

  • No spectators or fans may enter the downstairs area of each rink. Spectators and fans are only allowed in the upstairs bleachers. To enter the bleachers, enter the facility, take the stairs on the lefthand side, and enter the spectator viewing area. 

  • Spectators and fans may not lean on or over the railings, throw or drop anything over the railings, or yell or speak to the bench area from the upstairs viewing area. 

  • Alcohol, marijuana, and other drugs are not allowed. Anyone under the influence of alcohol, marijuana, or other drugs will be removed from the premises. 

  • Glass containers, backpacks, and bags are not allowed. 

  • Dogs are not allowed, except for service dogs. Documentation for service dogs must be shown when asked. 

Arvada Police and/or Club Sports staff are on-site for all games to enforce facility policies. 

  • Violators will be asked to leave and/or face further repercussions, including but not limited to: arrest, prosecution, referral to judicial affairs at the student's college or university, etc. 

  • We reserve the right to host the game without fans with little or no advanced notice. 

Ticketing & ID Checks 

All Mines Club Hockey home games require a ticket. 

  • Tickets require advance purchase.  

  • Tickets can be purchased on oreconnect.mines.edu and are linked to the game schedule on Mines Athletics. 

  • Tickets are required for all spectators and fans age 12 or older. Tickets are also required for all players not on the roster and/or not in uniform. 

  • Tickets will be available approximately 48 hours before game time. 

  • ID checks are conducted by Club Sports staff upon arrival. All spectators and fans must present a valid, government-issued photo ID. 

  • No ID = no entry. 

Parking 

The parking lot can be found directly in front of the Apex Ice Arena, outlined in red above. The best entrance to Apex Ice Arena is outlined in blue above. All parking is free. 

Upon entering the facility, spectators should turn left and take the stairs to the second floor. Athletes and coaches should go straight down the hallway and enter their assigned locker room. 

Colorado School of Mines Club Baseball – Jim Darden Baseball Field

Sportsmanship Policy 

The following sportsmanship policy will be enforced by Club Sports staff and officials. This policy applies to all fans, spectators, coaches, and student-athletes. 

Colorado School of Mines Club Sports believes good sportsmanship is an integral component of intercollegiate competition. We wholeheartedly embrace the position that, in order for sportsmanship to prevail, coaches, student-athletes, and fans must display respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility before, during, and after all athletic contests. We encourage fans to enthusiastically support their team, recognize the outstanding performance of opponents, and always exhibit good sportsmanship in their words and actions.  

  

Colorado School of Mines Club Sports is committed to holding competitions in a safe environment free from bullying. Offensive language including profanity, derogatory remarks around a person's race, ethnicity, culture, age, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, ability, national origin, veteran status, social economic class, religion, or professional status, or other intimidating actions directed at officials, event staff, student-athletes, coaches or team representatives will not be tolerated and are grounds for removal from the competition site.Â
