Sedbrook joined Robby Bales' coaching staff in August of 2018. He enters his second season as an assistant coach in 2020.

Sedbrook’s resume features an impressive playing career with stops at then Dixie State Community College, the University of Arizona and a three-year career in the St. Louis Cardinals organization. The Broomfield High School graduate was initially drafted by the Colorado Rockies in 2004, but he decided to pursue his collegiate career at Dixie State. Sedbrook was drafted again in 2007 by the Chicago Cubs. However, he opted to continue playing at the University of Arizona. The Coloradoan was drafted a third and final time in 2008 by the St. Louis Cardinals where he helped the Batavia Muckdogs (Short Season A) to a New York Penn League Championship. 

Sedbrook played for notable coaches such as current Brigham Young University coach Mike Littlewood, current St. Louis Cardinals Manager Mike Shildt and ABCA Hall of Fame Coach Andy Lopez. He parlayed the mentorship into multiple coaching jobs including varsity assistant at Skyline High School in Longmont, Colo., varsity head coach at Boulder High School and currently works as Director of Defensive Curriculum & Player development at Gameday Baseball.  

Sedbrook earned his college degree from CU in Boulder, majoring in history. He also served as the Front Range League All-Star Game Head Coach from 2014-16.
