Colorado School of Mines Athletics

Mark Martinez started working with Colorado School of Mines baseball in 1994 and has become a mainstay with the Orediggers. He announced his retirement from coaching baseball and working with Mines in the summer of 2021.

Martinez filled a variety of roles, including working with the outfielders and coordinating alumni relations. He also took a brief hiatus to work with the MSU Denver baseball program. Martinez was the longest-tenured member of head coach Robby Bales' staff, having worked under five skippers over the course of 26 years.

Mark resides in the Denver metro area with his wife Pam.
