Also tied the program record for runs in a game against ASU on Feb. 22 ... From Feb. 14-23, recorded a hit in eight straight at bats, ranking #2 in the program record book ... Overall, started each of Mines' 47 games, mostly at third base ... Finished his true-freshman campaign hitting .374 with 41 runs on 68 hits including 21 doubles, two triples, and seven home runs with 39 RBI ... Also walked 14 times and was hit seven compared to 19 strikeouts while adding five stolen bases on six attempts ... Led the team in doubles, tied for the team lead in hits, and ranked second in runs scored, home runs and RBI ... His slugging percentage of .626 was also tops for the Orediggers ... Notched the fifth-most doubles in the RMAC ... College baseball debut came in the season opener at Southwestern Oklahoma State on Jan. 31 where he registered his first hit as an Oredigger - a double ... First collegiate home run was part of him hitting for the cycle against Adams State on Feb. 22 in Colorado Springs ... For the year, led Mines with 22 multi-hit games while adding eight outings with multiple RBI, an 11-game hit streak, and a 17-game streak of reaching base safely ... Closed the year riding a 15-game reached base streak and a three-game hitting streak ... Had four games of at least three hits and produced a stretch from March 22 - April 6 touting two hits in seven of eight games with a streak of four games and three games ... Also scored multiple runs nine different times.

HIGH SCHOOL: Competed for the baseball team at Clear Creek High School in Texas, earning three varsity letters while lining up on the infield, in the outfield, and taking the mound as a right-handed pitcher … Named Second-Team All-District as a sophomore after hitting .350 with a .454 on-base percentage, and .821 OPS … As a junior, earned unanimous First-Team All-District distinction with First-Team All-County honors as a utility player thanks to a .365 average, .436 OBP, and .931 PS … Also earned the Clear Creek High School Team Leader award … Played club ball for Marucci Elite Texas – DUNN … Was a member of the National Honor Society and served as NTHS Vice President … Participated in the NASA H.U.N.C.H. program and was a parabolic mirror honorable mention finalist … Plans to major in civil engineering at Mines.
