Totaled one strikeout and one walk in 2.1 innings of work without surrendering a single home run or throwing a wild pitch ... College baseball debut came against New Mexico Highlands on March 16 and resulted in zero runs on one hit while needing just six pitches to retire two of the three batters he faced ... Recorded 0.1 innings of work at MSU Denver and twice against #22-ranked Colorado Mesa ... Through the first four appearances of his career, posted a 0.00 ERA while giving up just one hit and zero walks ... Last appearance of the year was against Regis on April 12 when he recorded his first strikeout in a Mines uniform.

HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB: Played baseball and tennis at Lincoln Southwest High School in Nebraska … Earned a varsity letter and pin for baseball … Pitched, played second and in the outfield … In 18.2 innings of action, he struck out 22 batters compared to 11 walks and gave up just 13 hits and five earned runs … Played club ball for Midland National 17U … Named Academic All-State and brought home the student scholar award … Also claimed an academic letter and two academic pins.
