Mines' primary catcher, totaling 43 appearances and 40 starts both behind the dish and at designated hitter ... Finished the year hitting .286 with 27 runs on 40 hits including 10 doubles, six home runs and 28 RBI ... Also walked 17 times, was hit by a pitch four times, hit five sacrifice flies and stole one base ... Ranked first on the team in chances in the field with 218, third on the team in home runs, and third in walks ... Tied for fourth in the conference in sacrifice flies and in runners caught stealing as well ... Nationally ranked top-100 in sacrifice flies ... Also walked 16 times while boasting a slugging percentage of .689, on-base percentage of .439, and OPS of 1.128 ... Only committed one error behind the plate for a fielding percentage of .991 while catching five runners on the base paths ... Hit his first collegiate home run against Minot State on March 2 as he went 1-for-2 with one run and two RBI on the day ... Smacked his first collegiate double two games after his inaugural long ball, also against Minot State ... Top performance of his sophomore season was arguably a 3-for-6 day at Regis on April 12 when he scored three runs and had six RBI thanks to one double and one home run, coming just a triple short of hitting for the cycle ...
