2017: RMAC Pitcher of the Week (5/9) … Freshman was a workhorse out of the bullpen, making a staff-high 18 appearances with one start … Ended with a 5-2 record and 3.86 ERA … Struck out 46 to only 17 walks in 42 innings of work … Had two saves … Had a save and a win in the RMAC Tournament, striking out six over 3.1 innings against UCCS in an extra-innings win … Whiffed six over 2.2 innings in his career debut against Montana State Billings … Also an outstanding producer at the plate, hitting .444 with three RBI and two triples in nine at-bats.

HIGH SCHOOL: Two-way player for BHS... excelled as both a pitcher and outfielder... posted a 0.83 ERA (five earned runs) in 42 innings with 48 strikeouts to only nine walks in 2016... also batted .323 while being named Front Range Athlete of the Year... named CHSAA Academic All-State in both 2015 and 2016... participated in the 2016 Colorado High School Futures game at Coors Field... also lettered in basketball... graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
