Max Bonenberger joined the Oredigger cross country and track & field coaching staffs prior to the fall of 2026 after a decorated college career at Mines. He competed for Mines from 2020-26 and was a five-time all-American for the Orediggers including a national runner-up finish in the steeplechase in 2026. Bonenberger also helped Mines win the cross country national title in the fall of 2024 and was a member of the 2022 team which also won the national crown.
