HIGH SCHOOL: Competed in cross country and track at Brother Martin High School in Louisiana … Earned a total of eight varsity letters across the two sports … Twice raced to an all-state finish in cross country … Helped his cross country team take regional silver in 2022 and win the region in 2023 … Also guided the squad to a second-place finish at the 2023 state race … Won two all-region honors in track and was a two-time indoor state runner-up in the 3,200-meter run … Posted prep-best times of 9:27 in the 3,200 meters, 4:25 in the 1,600-meter run, and 2:04 in the 800 meters … Was a National Merit Finalist, graduated as an AP Scholar with Distinction and won the Science Award at his high school.
