EMPORIA STATE (2020-21): Started her collegiate career at Emporia State in Kansas where she competed in track & field and cross country for two years … Standout distance runner for the Hornets, breaking the program records in the indoor 3K and 5K while setting MIAA conference meet records for the same events … Won MIAA titles in the 10K, 3K, indoor 5K and cross country … Three-time MIAA Scholar-Athlete … USTFCCCA Second-Team All-America in the indoor 5K in 2022, taking 10th in the nation in 16:41.
HIGH SCHOOL: Prep career took place at Hutchinson High School in Kansas where she ran the 1,600 meters in 5:29, the 3,200 meters in 12:07 and the 5K cross country race in 19:45 … Qualified for the Kansas State Cross Country Championships as a freshman and senior … Took seventh in the state in the 3,200 meters … Ran for the Brocaw Blazers club as well, taking 13th in the 17-18 age category at the Cross Country Coaches National Youth Championships … Earned a total of six varsity letters … In the classroom was a member of the National Honor Society and a Full IB Diploma recipient … Plans to major in applied mathematics at Mines.
