Ran the RMAC Championships in his hometown of Durango, Colo., and finished eighth with a time of 25:00.7 ... Collegiate cross country debut came in the season opener at the Roadrunners Invitational where he took second in 23:49.6 ... Was the top collegiate runner at the Ted Castaneda Classic, clocking in at 24:41.7 and finishing second only to professional runner and former NCAA Division II Cross Country Champion Marcelo Laguera.

HIGH SCHOOL: Ran track & field and cross country at Durango High School in Colorado ... Recorded a pair of top-25 finishes at the state cross country championships, taking 10th and 11th in different years ...
