2013: Played in and started all 11 games atcenter on the offensive line… Helped Mines to aprogram-record 727 yards of offense on 108 plays in thesquad’s 72-6 win over South Dakota Mines… Mines tied a40-year-old NCAA Division II record with 42 first downs, set byDelaware in 1973 against SDSMT… Helped squad again set aschool record for total offense with 749 yards in the squad’s62-22 win over Black Hills State… The offense finishedinside the top-25 of several NCAA statistical categories,including: first downs (7th, 319), passing offense (10th, 319.0),total offense (11th, 494.1), time of possession (13th, 32:52) andfourth down conversion percent (22nd, 0.596)… Mines led theRMAC in first downs (29.0) and 4th down conversions (59.6 percent),finished second in scoring offense (36.2), total offense (494.1),passing offense (319.0) and third-down conversions (44.0 percent),third in passing efficiency (130.3) and fourth in rushing offense(175.1)… The Mines offense posted more than 400 yards oftotal offense in eight contests, including three games with 600 ormore yards.

2012: Appeared in two games with nostarts… Mines' offense was featured on the front page of theUSA Today Sports section during the 2012 season (Full Article). The Orediggers averaged 84 playsand 455.7 yards per game, the latter placing the squad 23rdnationally for the category. The offense averaged 366.09 passingyards per game (fifth nationally) and 39.27 points per game (15thnationally). QB Matt Brown finished fifth in the nation in totaloffense per game (364.82) and fifth in passing yards per game(352.1).

2011: Appeared in ninegames… Mines offense led the conference and finishedeighth nationally with 305.9 yards per game… Mines offensefinished 42nd nationally with 31.6 points per game… Minesoffense finished 48th nationally with 401.6 yards of total offenseper game… Quarterback Clay Garcia led conference in passingyards (3,123) and running back Dan Palmer led the conference inrushing yards per game (92.4).

2010: Redshirted in his first season atCSM.

High School: A three-year letterwinner infootball...Named Offensive Player of the Week on two occasions,garnered Second Team All-Region recognition and led CHS to theState semifinals his senior year...CHS advanced into the Statequarterfinals his junior season...Earned two letters inbasketball...Led the hoops team to the State quarterfinals hisjunior year...Qualified for the Honor Roll throughout his prepcareer...Member of the National Honor Society.
