2012: Appeared in five games with no starts… Mines' offense was featured on the front page of the USA Today Sports section during the 2012 season (Full Article). The Orediggers averaged 84 plays and 455.7 yards per game, the latter placing the squad 23rd nationally for the category. The offense averaged 366.09 passing yards per game (fifth nationally) and 39.27 points per game (15th nationally). QB Matt Brown finished fifth in the nation in total offense per game (364.82) and fifth in passing yards per game (352.1).

2011: Appeared in 10 games with three starts… Mines O-line tied for second in the RMAC in fewest sacks allowed (23)… Mines offense led the conference and finished eighth nationally with 305.9 yards per game… Mines offense finished 42nd nationally with 31.6 points per game… Mines offense finished 48th nationally with 401.6 yards of total offense per game… Quarterback Clay Garcia led conference in passing yards (3,123) and running back Dan Palmer led the conference in rushing yards per game (92.4).

2010: Started all 12 games at center...Helped guide an offensive line that led CSM to the top of the RMAC statistical charts in points scored (438), total offensive yards (5,250) and passing offense (351.7 ypg).

2009: Played in six games...Member of an offensive line that anchored the top-ranked passing offense (356.3 ypg) in the RMAC...Helped guide a CSM offense that was ranked second in the RMAC in scoring (33.1 ppg), total offense (431.0 ypg) and passing efficiency (148.7).

2008: Redshirted during his first season at CSM.

High School: A four-year letterman in football...Earned Second Team All-Conference laurels as a sophomore...A First Team All-Conference selection as a junior...Earned 2A Central Defensive Player of the Year and Second Team All-Small School accolades following his senior season...Earned three letters on the track & field team...Took sixth place in the shotput and eighth in the discus at the State championships in 2007...Played on the basketball team all four years...Member of the National Honor Society.
