Closed the year batting .184 with seven runs on seven hits including one double and five RBI ... Also walked seven times and hit one sacrifice fly ... Defensively had zero errors on 53 chances with 48 putouts and five assists ... Notched his first collegiate hit at #21 Cal Poly Pomona on Feb. 11 ... Drove in his first run as a collegian on Feb. 19 at Cal State L.A. ... Top performance of the season featured three runs on one hit with one RBI against New Mexico Highlands on April 2 ... Also scored multiple runs at UCCS on May 5 ... Notable as well was a 1-for-1 appearance with one run and one walk against #13 MSU Denver on April 29.

Collegiate debut came against Colorado Christian on March 26 where he drew a walk ... Came off the bench defensively at New Mexico Highlands on April 15 and at Adams State on April 30 and combined for five putouts in five chances ... First collegiate start and run scored was at UCCS on May 7 thanks to one walk in three at-bats while recording three more putouts without an error.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played catcher at Ankeny Centennial High School in Iowa, boasting three varsity letters … Two-time First-Team All-Conference and Two-time First-Team All-District … Named Second-Team Class 4A All-State as a junior … Hit .344 as a sophomore with 16 RBI … As a junior, hit .439 with 11 doubles, 25 RBI and caught 21 runners stealing … Played club ball for the Iowa Sticks … Three-time Academic All-Conference award winner and a National Merit Semifinalist … Majoring in chemical engineering at Mines.
