High School: Clare lettered three times as a prep at St. Petersburg High School, including averages of nine points, 12 rebounds, four blocks and two assists per game as a junior. As a sophomore, Clare averaged 11 points, eight rebounds, two assists and two blocks in leading St. Pete High to the FHSAA 7A Final Four and the FHSAA Regional Finals. He also played for West Coast Magic and averaged 14 points, 10 rebounds, 3.1 blocks and 3.2 assists per game. He earned Defensive MVP honors as a junior and currently boasts a 3.87 unweighted (4.37 weighted) grade point average. He earned the Scholar-Athlete Award during his sophomore and junior seasons and was a member of the President's Honor List as a junior.
