Kelly Sorge joined the Mines staff as Assistant Director of Fitness in January 2022.
Kelly grew up in Massachusetts and earned her B.A. at the University of New Hampshire where she spent most of her time in the rec center. After graduation, Kelly realized that her true passion was fitness and wellness, so she changed career paths and became a NASM certified Personal Trainer. Kelly attained her M.S. in Health and Wellness Management at Merrimack College, where she held a GA position as Fitness Coordinator. Since then, Kelly spent over two years at Brown University as the Fitness and Wellness Coordinator. Kelly is an active NIRSA member, serving on multiple committees and work groups.
Most of Kelly’s free time is spent in the gym, paddle boarding, and taking her dogs for walks.
