Kevin Langlois joined Mines as a coordinator in the summer of 2017 and is now the Assistant Director of the Outdoor Recreation Center.

Langlois comes to Mines after serving as the Outdoor Adventure Program coordinator at Virginia Commonwealth University. He is an experienced outdoor instructor, having worked in various capacities as a ski, rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, whitewater kayaking, canoeing and rafting guide in Colorado, Utah, California, Wyoming, and Wisconsin. He is a certified wilderness emergency technician (WEMT) and holds a Level 3 avalanche certification, and is a Master Educator in Leave No Trace. Kevin has also completed the AMGA Ski Guides Course, Rock Guides Course, and Alpine Skill Course and holds the title Apprentice Alpine, Rock and Ski Guide with the AMGA.

Langlois is a graduate of Bethel (Ind.) College and earned his master's degree from Frostburg State University.
