Will Bobbitt has been the Director of Facilities and Aquatics since May of 2025.
He went to undergraduate school at James Madison University in his hometown of Harrisonburg, Virginia. He found his passion for campus recreation while working as a facility assistant and worked there all 4 years. After graduating he went to Georgia Southern University where he was a facilities graduate assistant for 2 years.
After grad school, he moved to Baltimore, Maryland where he worked at Towson University as the Facilities and Events coordinator for 3 years. After Towson University, he took a job at the Maryland Zoo as an Events Coordinator. After getting some amazing experience, he is happy to be back in Campus Recreation.
In his free time Will enjoys hiking, bird watching, camping, competing in various rec leagues, and watching soccer.
