2023-24: Indoor Track & Field - Second-Team All-RMAC (DMR) … Middle-distance specialist focused on the 800m indoors … Ran a collegiate-best 2:14.56 at the Gorilla Classic … Won a silver medal with Mines’ distance medley relay at the RMAC Indoor Championships … Finished 10th in the 800m at RMACs … Also a part of the Mines 4x400 relay at both the Gorilla Classic and UCCS Invite, the former ranking as the #3 performance all-time at Mines.
Outdoor Track & Field - Competed in seven meets, focused on the 800m run … Won the 800 at both the Maverick Invite & Multi and the Maverick Invite #2 … Finished 12th in the 800 at the RMAC Championships running a personal-best 2:13.82.
2022-23: Indoor Track & Field - Primarily ran the 400 and 800 during indoor season … Set a personal-best 800m time of 2:2302 at the Mines Winter Classic … Season-best 400m was at the UCCS Invite in 1:00.83.
Outdoor Track & Field - Continued to compete in the 400m and 800m outdoors … Ran an all-conditions best 400m of 58.61 at the Kit Mayer Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL: Competed for the cross country and track & field teams at Seven Lakes High School in Texas where she ran everything from the 60-meter dash to the 5,000-meter run … Earned a total of six varsity letters … Top career times include 8.20 in the 60-meter dash, 12.29 in the 100-meter dash, 25.90 in the 200-meter dash indoors, 57.87 in the outdoor 400-meter dash, 2:17.02 in the 800 meters, 5:22 in the 1,600-meter run, 12:36.9 in the two-mile cross country race and 20:07.66 in the 5K cross country race … Was a 2021 Junior All-American as part of the 4x800-meter relay at the 2021 Summer Junior Olympics … In 2019 ran as part of the 4x100-meter and 4x400-meter relays at the 6A Area Championships and the 3-6A Regional Championships … In 2021 qualified at numerous levels and won the Texas 6A State title as part of the 4x400-meter relay which was ranked second in the United States … Senior season brought about gold medals at the Texas Relays, 6A District 19 Championships and 6A Area 19-20 Championships … Broke the school record in the 800-meter SMR, 4x200-meter relay and 4x400-meter relay and ranks second all-time in the 800 meters … Competed with Track Houston and Wings in club competition … In the classroom was a member of the College Board National Hispanic Recognition Program … Was also an AP Scholar with Honor in 2021 and AP Scholar with Distinction in 2022 … Plans to major in quantitative biosciences and engineering at Mines.
