Jordan Ruiz completed her second second with the Orediggers and first in a full-time capacity in 2026. She joined the program on a part-time basis in 2025.

Working primarily with the outfielders in 2026, Ruiz's group fielded a collective .980 this spring and recorded 34 outfield assists. Kendall Aragon was named to the RMAC Gold Glove team and led the team with nine outfield assists and a .989 fielding percentage while also collecting First Team All-RMAC honors. Kellan Ton also fielded .989 with five outfield assists on her way to First Team honors as well, while Sam Whisenand fielded .982 with five outfield assists. Ruiz also worked with the hitters and helped the Orediggers lead NCAA Division II with 40 triples, headlined by a single-season record 12 from Aragon. Mines also raised its batting average from .317 to .333 and finished +37 in run differential at 321-284 in 2026. In the RMAC, Mines finished third defensively with a .966 fielding percentage, a nearly 20-point jump from 2025. Mines also finished third in batting average at .333 and broke the program single-season stolen base and triples records.
