GOLDEN, Colo. - Former Oredigger Marty Jertson
has been selected as Colorado School of Mines' lone representative
on the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's All-Time Men's Golf
Team, as announced today by the RMAC.
A four-year letterwinner (1998-99 to 2001-02) on the CSM men's
golf team, Jertson was a three-time All-RMAC selection.
Jertson earned Medalist honors (first place) at five different
events and garnered Honorable Mention All-American accolades during
his senior season. Below are Jertson's career honors.

* Four-year letterwinner in men's golf at CSM
(1998-99 to 2001-02).
* Three-time All-RMAC selection (freshman, junior, senior).
* Finished second at the RMAC Championships as a junior.
* Two-time selection as the RMAC Men's Golfer of the Week as a
senior.
* Compiled the RMAC's best 18-hole score (tied - 66) as a
senior.
* Compiled the RMAC's best 36-hole score (135) as a senior.
* Compiled the RMAC's best 54-hole score (204) as a senior.
* Earned Medalist honors (first place) at five different events as
a senior.
* Placed third at the NCAA Division II Northwest Regional as a
senior.
* A Byron Nelson Award semifinalist (NCAA award for athletic &
academic excellence) as a senior.
* Garnered Academic All-American honors as a senior.
* Finished third at the RMAC Championships as a senior.
* Won the RMAC low-stroke-average award (72.35) as a senior.
* Three-time Academic All-RMAC selection (sophomore, junior,
senior).
* Garnered Honorable Mention NCAA Division II All-American honors
as a senior.
* Selected as CSM's Male RMAC Honor Student-Athlete as a
senior.
* Graduated from Colorado School of Mines in May of 2002.
