COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The Colorado
School of Mines swimming & diving teams both defeated Colorado
College in a dual meet on Saturday afternoon at Schlessman
Natatorium. The CSM men defeated Colorado College by a score of 158
to 97 while the women defeated the Tigers 135 to 126.
The 200 medley relay comprised of Andrew Zerwick, Matthew Bisping,
Siarhei Piletski and Will MacIntyre took first-place with a time of
1:38.51. Jacob Dole won both the 100 backstroke (53.58) and the 50
freestyle (22.18). Elliot Feng won the 100 breaststroke finishing
with a time of 1:00.46.
Sarah Moore won the both the 1-meter and 3-meter events. Moore
posted a score 270.90 in the 3-meter event once again surpassing
the NCAA qualifying mark and setting a new pool record at
Schlessman Natatorium. Lauren McIver won the 200 backstroke in a
time of 2:20.06 while Rainey Perkins placed first in the 1000
freestyle (11:2625).
The Orediggers will compete at the Washington University
Thanksgiving Invite in St. Louis, Mo. on Saturday and Sunday, Nov.
21st and 22nd.
