DENVER - Colorado School of Mines basketball head coaches Pryor Orser and Brittany Simpson will take part in the inaugural Denver D-II Basketball Tip-Off Luncheon Wednesday, Oct. 12 at Blake Street Tavern in Denver.

The event is open to boosters and fans, with doors opening at 11:30 a.m. Men's and women's coaches from Mines, Colorado Christian, MSU-Denver, and Regis will be on hand. Bill Hanzlik of the Gold Crown Foundation will be on hand to emcee the event. Each head coach will have about five minutes to talk about their upcoming season.

Tickets are $30 per person or $300 per table of 10 with a buffet lunch served. Blake Street Tavern is located at 2301 Blake St. in Denver, one block northeast of Coors Field. To register, visit MSU Denver's site at roadrunnersathletics.com.
