#23 Mines Edges Regis, 1-0

DENVER - Ryan Wilson's first-half goal was all #23 Colorado School of Mines needed to earn a bounceback win over rival Regis on Wednesday.

The Orediggers (8-3-0, 6-1-0 RMAC) remained in first place in the RMAC with the win, their first in regulation at the Rangers (5-4-0, 3-4-0 RMAC) since 2010.

Wilson tallied in the 33rd minute to put Mines ahead, burying a rebounded Nikolaus Grotz shot for his third of the year.

The Orediggers controlled long stretches of the game, outshooting Regis 12-8 and leading 8-2 on corners, but the defense allowed only two shots on goal, both met by Collin Hall for his fifth shutout of the season.

Mines returns to action Sunday, hosting South Dakota Mines for a noon start.
