LaRose Currie (volleyball) and
Liz Tomon (women's basketball). Each Mines Athletics team will visit each school for one hour on a designated date, allowing all athletes the opportunity to work with and mentor community youth in a group-learning and team-building environment. Visits consist of 30 minutes of reading (sport and team-related books with inspiring/motivational themes) and 30 minutes of physical activities. Mines teams meet with two classes at each school, totaling 50 students per school per monthly visit.
