Box Score LAS VEGAS, N.M. - Colorado School of Mines clinched an RMAC Tournament berth as it cruised to a 61-48 win over New Mexico Highlands.

The Orediggers (16-12, 12-7 RMAC) ensured a return to the postseason with the win and losses by Colorado Christian and Black Hills State on Saturday night. Mines currently sits seventh in the RMAC standings.

Emily Bailey scored 23 points and Elizabeth Tomon scored 10 with seven rebounds as Mines held the Cowgirls (2-22, 1-19) to only 48 points and 34.1 percent shooting with 10 steals in the game.

The two teams traded the lead early but Mines hit an early 7-0 run sparked by a Cassidy Budge three-pointer and the final eight points of the first by Bailey to lead 17-10 after one.

Mines led 28-22 at halftime, but didn't fully take control of the game until they ended the third quarter on an 11-0 run, holding NMHU without a field goal for the final 4:47 of the period. That pushed a 40-33 lead into a sizable 51-33 advantage, and Mines carried the run into the fourth quarter with a Budge three and Anna Kollmorgen foul shot to start things off.
