IN THE RMAC STANDINGS
Mines enters the weekend in third place in the RMAC standings at 16-8, with a 19-11 overall record. CSU-Pueblo is 10-14 and currently sitting in the eighth and final RMAC Tournament spot.

LAST YEAR VS. CSU-PUEBLO
In a weather-shortened two-game series, Mines walked off with two wins over the Thunderwolves on a neutral field in Pueblo. Mines won the opener 5-2 on Hallie Smith's two-hitter, then needed a walk-off sacrifice fly by Sonoma Toot to score Dani Valerio to win the second game 6-5. Valerio was a home run short of the cycle in that game.

IN THE CIRCLE
Mines sports the RMAC's second-best staff ERA at 2.92 and opposing batting average at .261. All three Mines starters rank in the RMAC top 10 in ERA with Hallie Smith leading the way in fourth at 2.66, Claire Stringfellow eighth at 3.14, and Maddie Rogers tenth at 3.33.

MOVING ON UP
Senior centerfielder Paige Noehring is nearing the Mines' career stolen bases record, moving into second place all-time in March as she now has 43. The record of 45 is held by Kaleigh Starr (2007-10). With 214 career hits, Noehring is alone in fifth on the Mines career list, and she is also cracking into a few other career categories, now tied for seventh in career runs (120), eighth in at-bats (585), and eighth in doubles (35). Meanwhile, junior Pua Fujinaga is moving closer to joining the century club with 90 career hits entering this weekend.

FRESHMEN MAKING AN IMPACT
A trio of Mines freshmen have worked their way into the everyday lineup and have made an instant impact this season. Shortstop Clara Larson is a serious RMAC Freshman of the Year candidate, leading Mines in almost every offensive category including average (.371), slugging (.657), RBI (3), runs (22), and home runs (7). Outfielder Kelsey Buechler has earned more playing time with a .314/.385/.371 slash line as she's seen time at both left field and DP. Meanwhile, Claire Stringfellow has been a huge addition to the Mines pitching staff, going 7-2 with a 3.14 ERA in 15 appearances.

STRIKEOUT CANCER DAY APRIL 15
