THE WEEK AHEAD
Colorado School of Mines women's basketball team faces another week with a home-away split on the schedule as it looks for its 10th win in RMAC play. Colorado Christian comes to Lockridge Arena Tuesday with an overall record of 6-11 and a conference mark of 4-8. The Cougars sit 11th in the league standings, but still have a shot at the postseason with timely, late-season wins. Then, Mines heads to Adams State Saturday to face the Grizzlies who are 4-12 overall and 2-12 in the RMAC. If the Orediggers can win both games, they will reach the double-digit win mark in RMAC play for the third-straight season.

THE WEEK THAT WAS
Mines claimed a dominant road victory last Thursday over New Mexico Highlands, taking down the Cowgirls 74-54. Heidi Hammond scored a career-high 12 points and Nicole Archambeau registered her seventh double-double of the season with 12 points and 14 rebounds. On Saturday, Mines fell just short of a share for first place in the RMAC standings as it fell at home to CSU-Pueblo, 63-50. Emily Bailey broke out of a scoring slump with 23 points, but 19 turnovers by the Orediggers proved too much to overcome.

KNOW YOUR HISTORY
Tuesday marks the 55th all-time meeting between Mines and Colorado Christian. The Orediggers lead the series 31-23 and have won three of their last four meetings with the Cougars. The last game between Mines and CCU was a 66-52 win for Colorado Christian. Emily Bailey scored 17 points and Heidi Hammond scored 11 to lead the Orediggers. Against Adams State, Mines trails the all-time series 22-33, but won last season's matchup in dominant fashion, 93-64.

POSTSEASON OUTLOOK
Mines has 10 games remaining in the 2017-18 regular season and is currently tied for sixth place in the RMAC standings at 11-7 overall and 8-4 in the RMAC. With the top eight in the league slated to go to the conference tournament, the Orediggers will need to stay above .500 down the stretch to remain in contention. At the top of the standings is CSU-Pueblo (13-6, 11-2 RMAC) with Fort Lewis (16-4, 10-4 RMAC). Black Hills State, Colorado Mesa and MSU Denver are all tied for third with a 9-4 mark in league play. Mines is currently tied with Regis. If the season were to end today, Westminster would round out the tournament field in eighth place at 9-8 overall and 8-5 in league action.

FANTASTIC FOUR
The quartet of Nicole Archambeau, Emily Bailey, Anna Kollmorgen and Elizabeth Tomon have started all 18 games for Mines this season. Archambeau and Bailey are both scoring in double digits with 12.6 and 12.2 points per game, respectively. Kollmorgen is dishing out 3.8 assists per contest while Tomon is shooting 47.0-percent from the floor. Archambeau also averages 10.0 rebounds per game to lead the team and the RMAC.

RMAC LEADERS
As a team, Mines continues to lead the RMAC on the boards this season, generating 43.0 total rebounds per game. The Orediggers also lead the league in defensive rebounding at 30.2 boards per game. Mines also boasts the fewest turnovers in the league with just 217 on the season. Individually, Nicole Archambeau leads the RMAC with 10.0 rebounds per game including a league-best 148 defensive boards. Archambeau is the only RMAC player averaging a double-double so far this season. Emily Bailey is tied for third in the league with 1.3 blocked shots per game.
