THE RMAC TOURNAMENT [Bracket]
Mines will open RMAC Tournament play on Tuesday, hosting Colorado Christian in the quarterfinals at 2 p.m. (note the time change due to the forecast for snow Tuesday night). The Orediggers went unbeaten in RMAC play to earn the regular-season championship and #1 seed; the Cougars, despite losing 2-0 to Mines on Sunday, had everything else fall in their favor to clinch the #8 seed. Elsewhere, #4-seed Dixie State hosts #5 MSU Denver, while on the other side of the bracket, #2 UCCS takes on #7 CSU-Pueblo, and #3 Westminster plays #6 Regis.

Should Mines win Tuesday, the finals and semifinals will take place at Stermole Stadium in conjunction with the men's tournament; if that's the case, the full schedule and game times will be announced Tuesday night.

TICKETS AND PARKING
No passes are accepted for postseason play. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for seniors, military, students, and children. Please note that weekday parking regulations are in effect on Mines' campus and fans parking in the lot adjacent to the stadium must obtain a parking slip from the kiosk.

MINES IN THE RMAC TOURNAMENT
Mines has dominated the RMAC Tournament this decade, winning titles in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016. Last year, the Orediggers fell in the semifinals to eventual champion UCCS. It will Mines' 12th consecutive RMAC Tournament appearance, and they are 14-5-2 all-time in the tournament.

NICE TO SEE YOU AGAIN
Mines and CCU will play for the second time in four days after the Orediggers won 2-0 on the road in Saturday's regular-season finale. Emily Townsend and Audrey Shin scored 1:22 apart late in the first half, while the Oredigger defense did not allow a shot on goal for the third straight game.

OREDIGGERS STAY ATOP NCAA REGIONAL RANKINGS
Mines stayed on top of the NCAA South Central regional rankings announced last Wednesday, a key indicator of selection for the NCAA Championship. The Orediggers are ahead of West Texas A&M, UCCS, and Westminster in the top four. Mines is 4-0 against other ranked teams in the South Central, with wins over #3 UCCS, #4 Westminster, #5 St. Edward's, and #8 MSU Denver.

IN THE POLLS
Mines moved up one spot to #4 in last week's United Soccer Coaches poll. It is the 46th time that Mines has received a top-10 ranking since 2009; since the start of the 2013 season, the Orediggers have been nationally ranked in 60 of a possible 68 polls.

STANDING GUARD
Three straight shutouts? Impressive. But Mines has done that four different times just this season. Three straight games without giving up a shot on goal? Now that's unprecedented. The Orediggers have not allowed a shot on goal since late in the MSU Denver game, a span of 272:15 since a Mines goalie has had to make a save. In that time, opponents have managed only six total shots of any kind; the Orediggers are giving up an RMAC-low 6.2 shots per game this season.

WITH HONORS
RMAC All-Academic First-Team selection Jennifer Kendall led nine Orediggers honored by the conference for their academic performance last week. Eight Orediggers were also named to the RMAC All-Academic Honor Roll: Chaney Brugman, Mickey Hostetler, Nicole LaTourette, Acacia Ortiz, Hannah Rowan, Zoe Sano, Riley Stein, Danika Thayer, and Lindsey Tornabene.

MINES VS. COLORADO CHRISTIAN
Mines has dominated the series against their crosstown opponents, leading 21-0-1 and having won 19 straight matchups. Mines and CCU have never met in the postseason, however.
