PUEBLO, Colo. - #16/17 Colorado School of Mines won its 16th consecutive game, blowing by CSU-Pueblo 90-67 to stay perfect in RMAC play this season.
The Orediggers (17-3, 14-0 RMAC) dominated in the paint with a 46-27 rebounding lead, and held the Thunderwolves (5-15, 3-11 RMAC) to .384 shooting on the defensive end to take a big first-half lead they never relinquished.
Mason Baker scored 19 and
Michael Glen had 18, while
Ben Clare recorded a 12-point, 10-rebound double-double to lead the way. The Orediggers never trailed in the game, leading by double-digits within the first 10 minutes as Baker scored 17 points in the first half alone. The Orediggers shot .532 for the game.
A 10-0 midway through the first half proved to be key for the Orediggers as they turned a 22-17 lead into a 32-17 advantage in less than three minutes of play. Mines led by as much as 22 before the break after a 11-3 spurt later in the period, and ultimately went into halftime up 52-32.
Mines then never led by less than 17 in the second half, setting their largest margin of the game at 27 points, 82-55, after an 8-0 run capped by a pair of
Joe Miks three-pointers late in the game.

- Mines' win streak is the second-longest in program history, trailing only a 17-game stretch in 2011-12.
- Mines led 46-18 in points in the paint.
- Mines has had a player record a double-double in four straight games; Clare is the third different player to do it in that span, joining Glen and Sullivan,
- It was Clare's sixth career double-double and first since the 2016-17 season.
- Glen was an outstanding 8-for-10 from the floor with a career-high four blocks.
- Mines had eight blocks in total.

Brendan Sullivan continued his hot play with 12 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and a block.
- Baker was 4-for-5 including three from the outside in the first half to score 17 of his 19 before the break.
- Mines came into the weekend with the RMAC's top scoring margin at +13.1 points per game, and exceeded that with a 23-point win.
