Orediggers Fall In OT At Regis

DENVER, Colo. - Regis' golden goal spoiled the regular-season finale for #20 Colorado School of Mines in a 1-0 contest on Wednesday.

The Orediggers end the regular season 12-3-3 overall and 9-2-1 in the RMAC. Mines will host a RMAC Tournament quarterfinal on Sunday at noon, with their final seeding and opponent depending on other results around the league later on Wednesday.

Gia Lemley scored 4:39 into overtime off Sarah Wynn's free kick to win it for the Rangers (12-5-0, 9-3-0 RMAC). It was an unlucky result for the Orediggers who outshot RU 15-11 and had the more positive play through the match.

Landry Corbett led Mines with five shots, and Emma Peterson took three. Sierra Roth made six saves for Mines.
