GOLDEN, Colo. - #18 Colorado School of Mines earned bonus points in six of eight bout victories to rout New Mexico Highlands 39-6 and get its RMAC dual schedule off to a winning start.

The Orediggers (1-0) ran their conference win streak to 10 matches led by four falls in the meet, including three in a row by Tyler Krause, Wes Rayburn, and Zach Krause from 133 to 149. #3 Weston Hunt ended the meet with a first-period pin as well.

The lower weights set the tone with five straight victories to begin the meet. Christian Lopez earned a 10-1 major decision over Naythan Galbiso at 125, and Tyler Krause started the pin party at 133 with a first-period fall over Xaydrian Perry. Rayburn stuck Gabe Rivera in 4:30 and Zach Krause made his season debut with a 3:44 pin over John Baker.

#12 Carter Noehre dominated in a 16-1 tech fall over Andres Grano at 157, but NMHU got two straight wins after that as Thomas Tolbert beat Jack Damenti 3-2 and Allen Michel upset #12 Ryan Fidel by the same score at 174.

Mines ended strongly as #7 Anderson Salisbury controlled his 8-1 win over Lance Killgore at 184, and Perry Rodenbeck also picked up an 8-3 win at 197. #3 Weston Hunt needed only 1:12 to pin Jayden Johnson at 285.

NOTABLES
- Mines improved to 15-7 all-time against the Cowboys, winning their fourth in a row in the series.
- Hunt's fall was the 24th of his career and his 61st win overall. He is now tied for fourth all-time at Mines in falls.

Mines will close the fall semester at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis on Dec. 18-19.
