MANHEIM, Pa - Colorado School of Mines wrestling made moves in this week's NWCA Division II Coaches' Poll.
The Orediggers (1-0) ticked up one spot to #17 in the first regular-season poll, with Central Oklahoma taking over the nation's #1 spot. Other ranked RMAC teams include #13 Adams State and #19 Western Colorado, with Colorado Mesa, CSU Pueblo, Chadron State, and San Francisco State all receiving votes.
Individually,
Weston Hunt (6-0) remained #3 at 285 pounds but
Anderson Salisbury (5-0) made a big move up three spots to #4 at 184, his highest career ranking.
Ryan Fidel (4-3) remained #12 at 174 pounds.
Mines defeated New Mexico Highlands Thursday night 39-6 in their dual opener. They will next compete at the Midwest Classic in Indianapolis on Dec. 18-19.
