United Soccer Coaches' Poll
GOLDEN, Colo. - Still unbeaten to start the spring 2021 season, Colorado School of Mines jumped up five spots to #13 in the newest United Soccer Coaches' Division II poll.
The Orediggers, now 3-0-1, are riding three straight shutout victories as the defense has allowed just a single goal this season, and none in the last 291:35. Mines is outscoring opponents 9-1 and outshooting them by an average of 16.3 to 7.0 this season.
The poll marks the 96th time Mines has been ranked by the United Soccer Coaches, including 26 consecutive poll appearances dating back to 2017.
Mines most recently defeated Colorado Christian, 1-0, to start RMAC play on Sunday. The conference schedule continues this weekend as the Orediggers host Adams State Friday night and CSU Pueblo on Sunday.
