NWCA Scholar All-America Teams

MANHEIM, Pa.
- The National Wrestling Coaches Association has announced its Division II Scholar All-Americans, with 11 Colorado School of Mines grapplers represented on the list.

Mines led the RMAC with 11 honorees, including NCAA 285-pound national finalist Weston Hunt and 197-pound all-American Anderson Salisbury. The Orediggers had seven repeat honorees led by Noah Ottum and Jake Stogdill, who earned it for the fourth time in their careers, with Jack Damenti, Ryan Fidel, and Hunt earning it for the third time. Perry Rodenbeck and Salisbury are two-time recipients with Grant Crownhart, KJ Kearns, Zach Krause, and Mike True picking up first-time honors.

In order for a student-athlete to be nominated to the Division II Scholar All-American Team, he must have a minimum 3.4 cumulative grade point average on a 4.0 scale, with that benchmark at 3.25 for those who qualified for the 2020 NCAA Division II Wrestling Championships. Due to the impact of COVID-19 on the season, the dates of competition stipulation was removed from this year's qualifications.
