GOLDEN, Colo. - #21 Colorado School of Mines remained perfect in duals this season, defeating both San Francisco State and Fort Hays State at Volk Gym on Thursday.
Tyler Krause had two falls on the evening while
Cody Thompson and
Levi Farris also won twice on the mat.

Mines improved to 3-0 in RMAC action with a 49-3 rout of San Francisco State to start the evening.
The short-handed Gators forfeited four weight classes, but Mines had three falls and a major decision to leave no doubt as they cruised to the victory.
Christian Lopez got things going with a 5-2 win over Antonio Margiotta, and
Tyler Krause pinned Aria Mazroy in the first period before
Grayston DiBlasi was credited with a forfeit win at 141.
Cody Thompson made his dual debut one to remember as he pinned Basil Othman in 2:36 to put Mines up 21-0.
SFSU's only win came in a terrific bout at 157 pounds where Mason Boutain came from behind and earned an overtime takedown to win 8-6 over
Carter Noehre.
Jack Damenti scored late to extend his win over Aaron Galef to a major decision, 13-5, and
Levi Farris made his dual-lineup debut last only 30 seconds as he took down Kweli Hernandez-Maitre into a pin to puncuate the win.

Anderson Salisbury's 5-1 win over #5 Marty Verhaeghe highlighted Mines' win in the evening's second dual as they defeated Fort Hays State 28-12.
The Orediggers (4-0) raced out to an 18-0 lead winning seven of 10 bouts to remain undefeated.
Christian Lopez took six points in a 125-pound forfeit, and
Tyler Krause stuck Tom VanValkenburg at the buzzer to end the second period for his second fall of the day.
Grayston DiBlasi then blanked Cole Zebley 6-0 at 141 and
Cody Thompson won 7-2 over Cason Lindsey at 149 to add to the lead.
The Tigers got on the board in a dramatic 157-pound match as Anthony Scantlin pinned
Carter Noehre from the bottom position late in the third period; the match was tied 5-5 but Noehre had riding time secured before the pin.
KJ Kearns shut out Clint Herrick 8-0 for a 165-pound major decision to get Mines back on track, and
Levi Farris won over Cody Hicks 9-6 to mathematically secure the dual victory.
In a battle of nationally-ranked veterans at 184, Salisbury wrestled a brilliant defensive match to beat Verhaeghe 6-1. Salisbury earned an early takedown and rode out both the first and second periods, then escaped to start the third and got another takedown to earn the win.
Fort Hays State won the final two bouts but it wasn't for a lack of trying by Mines; Tereus Henry won 7-6 on a late takedown at 197 over
Perry Rodenbeck, and
Mike True put a scare into #12 AJ Cooper as he led 4-3 after two periods before Cooper made a third-period takedown and secured riding time to win 6-4.
