GOLDEN, Colo. - On the back of a perfect RMAC start, Colorado School of Mines football has moved up in both national polls this week.
The Orediggers moved up one spot in the AFCA Coaches' Poll to #21, but made a big jump in the D2football.com media poll up six spots to #8. Mines is 3-2 overall and 3-0 in the RMAC, with both losses coming to the current #2 and #3 teams in both polls, Grand Valley State and Angelo State respectively, by a combined six points.
Mines has been ranked in every poll this season and has appeared in 27 consecutive rankings dating back to Week 3 of the 2018 season.
The Orediggers are home this week to host Colorado Mesa Saturday at noon. The Homecoming contest will air live on KWGN and the RMAC Network.
