2022 RMAC All-Academic Baseball Teams
COLORADO SPRINGS – Wayne Moeck led the way for the Colorado School of Mines Baseball team on the RMAC All-Academic teams released Monday afternoon as 19 total Orediggers were honored.

Moeck claimed RMAC First-Team All-Academic distinction in his first year of eligibility for the honor. He was voted to the top squad by the league's sports information directors thanks to a cumulative grade-point average of 3.30 or better and his performance on the field as well. Moeck appeared on the top team as Mines' starting centerfielder  with an unblemished 4.0 GPA as a civil engineering major. The only program with more academic honorees than the Orediggers' 19 was Regis which put 21 on the RMAC Academic Honor Roll.

Jackson Bakovich,
Alex Bumpus,
Chandler Cole,
Luke Folsom,
Adam Houghtaling,
Zachary Kriethe,
Collin Kringlen,
Marcus Lee,
Nash Neff,
Blake Ripp,
Nic Roma,
Toby Scoles,
Weston Siefken,
Brady Veltien,
Ryan Vermeer and
Kevin Zapanta. Criteria for the honor roll required student-athletes to maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 or better with at least two consecutive semesters at their institution while also using a year of athletic eligibility.

The Orediggers continue their 2022 campaign this Friday, Saturday and Sunday hosting Adams State and
Jim Darden Field in Golden, Colo. It marks the last home series of the year and Senior Day will be celebrated Saturday. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate. Live stats and video on the RMAC Network will be offered for free at
