GOLDEN, Colo. – The Colorado School of Mines Men's Swimming team entered the new year with a fresh national ranking thanks to the College Swimming and Diving Coaches' Association of America (CSCAA).

According to the latest 2022-23 Division II Swimming & Diving Top 25 Dual Meet Rankings, the men of Mines are #13 in the nation. The Orediggers were previously receiving votes in the poll, but won four of their five duals in October, November, and December to make the jump. Most notable in Mines' 4-1 record was a season-opening, 137-105 victory over NCAA Division I Nebraska-Omaha at the Air Force Triangular. The Oredigger men also defeated Adams State twice and Colorado College once with a loss to Air Force as well.

The top of the men's poll featured Drury #1, Indianapolis #2 and Colorado Mesa #3. Affiliate conference foe Oklahoma Christian also made the men's list at #9. On the women's side, Colorado Mesa jumped to #1 in the nation. No other RMAC women's teams were in the rankings.

Mines' men and women return to the pool this weekend for the Air Force Invitational on Friday and Saturday in Colorado Springs. A full preview will be released later Thursday at www.minesathletics.com.
