Day Two Results
GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. – Another program record fell and additional NCAA-qualifying times were posted for the Colorado School of Mines Men's and Women's Swimming Teams on Thursday after two more sessions of the TYR CMU Invitational at Colorado Mesa.

Plenty of Orediggers racked up points during the evening finals, but the real excitement for Mines came during prelims in the morning. First to strike was
Isabella Bono with a NCAA "B" time in the 500-free, clocking in at 5:09.31.
Jaron O'Grady and
Lucas Hoke did the same on the men's side with respective times of 4:39.20 and 4:39.42.
Annie Osmun accounted for the program record of the day by touching the wall in 2:03.86 in the 200-IM. It shattered her own Mines record of 2:05.24 and was also a NCAA "B" time as she advanced to the "A" finals. In the men's 200-IM, it was
Garrett Waite posting a NCAA-qualifying time by stopping the clock at 1:50.85. Osmun provided another NCAA "B" time in the 50-free, swimming an exhibition with a time of 23.62. That was just prelims.

In the evening finals, numerous Orediggers scored team points for Mines. O'Grady posted another NCAA "B" time in the 500-free as he finished #11 while Hoke went #12,
Scott Reeder was #13,
Joseph Lev-Tov was #14, and
Mattie Oberley took #16 for a total of 19 points for the Orediggers. Osmun walked away from the 200-IM finals with 11 points thanks to an eighth-place finish.
Olivia Kisow chipped in three points in the same event by taking #14. Waite also doubled up on NCAA-qualifying times while finishing fourth in the men's 200-IM.
Gavin Moore and
Gavin Gilmore combined to add four points to the team total in the 200-IM as well.

As the evening headed into the sprints and the relays, Mines continued adding points to its men's and women's totals. The Oredigger trio of
Luca Burns,
Seth Krause, and
Braden Hunt accumulated 14 points for the men in the 50-free. Then,
Jordan Tierney,
Sarah Bennett,
Cameryn Schmidt, and
Jorie Selig placed fourth in the 200-freestyle relay to give the women 30 points. Kisow,
Emma Neuroth,
Zooecia Phoebus, and
Kylie VanderMeer teamed up to give the women 14 points in the same event. The scoring finished with the men's 200-freestyle relay.
Jakson Winn, Waite, Krause, and Burns claimed bronze for 32 team points. Mines' second relay of
Michael Kietzman, Hunt,
Oliver Theby, and
Kevin Burns grabbed 24 more points for the Oredigger men.

The final standings after two days and three sessions of swimming saw Mines' men at #2 with 295 points. The Oredigger women closed Thursday sitting #4 with 176 points. Other notables included 9-of-9 Oredigger men advancing to final in the 500-free. Six out of six men for Mines advanced to finals in the 200-IM as well.

Mines continues the TYR CMU Invitational on Friday with prelims beginning at 10 a.m. Events for the day include the 100-fly, 400-IM, 200-free, 100-breast, 100-back, and the 400-medley relay. There will be live video on the RMAC Network and live results offered at
