GOLDEN, Colo.
- Colorado School of Mines' men won all but one event as they took a dual win from Colorado College Friday night.

Led by Ronan Lauinger's pool record in the 400-IM and a pair of events wins each by Luca Burns and Braden Hunt, the Orediggers won 187-54 over the Tigers.

Lauinger won the 400-IM in 4:10.80, smashing the oldest remaining pool swimming record set by Mines' Kevin Shaw in 2008 (4:12.14).

The wins came in droves for the Orediggers starting with Hunt, who took both the 50- and 100-freestyle events with a 22.12 50 clocking and a season-best 48.24 in the 100. Burns doubled up in the 100-fly (51.35) and 100-back (49.98) while Garrett Waite won the 200-IM in 1:56.24 and Gavin Gilmore swam a season-best 1:00.19 to win a close 100-breast victory over Lauinger (1:00.32), Jack Engler (1:00.58), and Gavin Moore (1:00.66) in the race of the night.

Mines swept the distance freestyle events as well as Scott Reeder took the 1000-free in 10:02.08 and Michael Kietzman held off teammate Joseph Lev-Tov for the 500-free win in 4:53.75. Both Mines relays won with the 200-medley touching in 1:33.80 and the 400-free in 3:11.56.

While CC's women weren't in attendance at the meet, the Oredigger women swam several exhibition events led by Annie Osmun, who had top times in the 200-IM (2:14.23) and 100-fly (58.31), with Jorie Selig (50-free), Isabella Bono (400-IM), Maggie Wells (200-free), Emi Jedryka (100-back), Kylie VanderMeer (100-free), and Jordan Tierney (100-breast) also winning their events.

Colorado College's Wyatt Wellehan set the natatorium record for the 1-meter 6 dives scoring 374.92. The previous record, held by Colorado Mesa's Brock Martin (313.8), had stood since 2010.

Mines is back in action at the TYR/CMU Invitational in Grand Junction on Nov. 15-18.
