CANYON, Texas – Game times have been announced and tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 a.m. CT for the Colorado School of Mines men's basketball NCAA Tournament opener against Black Hills State.
The third-seeded Orediggers and sixth-seeded Yellow Jackets will be the first game of the weekend on Saturday March 11 at 12 p.m. CT at the First United Bank Center in Canyon. Tickets can be
purchased online in advance as well as at the door on the day of competition. Saturday's schedule will be split into two sessions with fans being asked to clear the venue following Session I then re-enter with their Session II ticket. Sideline Seat Session passes are $20, Reserved Chairback Session passes are $10, General Admission Session passes are $5, Children's General Admission passes for those between the ages of 3-17 are $4. Any Mines students who plan to attend will be admitted free of charge with their Blaster Card.
Should Mines defeat BHSU and advance the region semifinals, they will play at 5 p.m. CT on Sunday March 12 against the winner of second-seeded Fort Lewis and seventh-seeded Lubbock Christian. The regional championship game is scheduled for Tuesday March 14 at 7 p.m. On the other side of the bracket, top-seeded West Texas A&M will play eighth-seeded Texas A&M-Kingsville at 5 p.m. CT with fourth-seeded Angelo State and fifth-seeded Colorado Mesa will wrap up opening round action at 7:30 p.m. CT. All game will be played at the
First United Bank Center on the campus of West Texas A&M.
There will also be live stats and free video offered on the
Lone Star Conference Digital Network. In order to watch online, fans will need to create an account, but will not have to pay to access the live stream. A full preview for the weekend will be released on Friday at www.minesathletics.com.
