Heading to a Mines football game this fall? Hop on the Ore Cart! 
 
Let the Ore Cart help up your plan for getting to and from Marv Kay Stadium to cheer on the Orediggers! 
 
The Ore Cart – the free community shuttle service operated by Mines and the City of Golden – will add a stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium on home game days. All three fixed lines – Silver, Gold and Tungsten – will stop on 12th Street in front of the stadium before and after the games.

Ore Cart Service Changes on Mines Football Game Days

Before the game (starting two hours pre-game)
•    Gold Route will add a stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium (12th Street) for fans headed to the game. 
•    Silver Route will run clockwise, adding stops at Marv Kay Stadium and Elm Street next to Y/H lots for overflow/ADA parking. Silver Route buses will not stop at K Lot (designated tailgate location).  
•    Tungsten Route will add a stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium/ 
 
Fourth quarter/post-game
•    Gold Route will stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium for fans leaving the game and heading to designated Gold stops downtown and north Golden. 
•    Silver Route will resume its normal route direction (counterclockwise). Buses will stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium, McNeil Hall Parking Garage, and Elm Street across from Y/H lots before continuing to Mines Park. No service to K Lot due to tailgate. 
•    Tungsten Route  will stop in front of Marv Kay Stadium for fans leaving the game and heading to designated Tungsten stops downtown and towards the Jeffco Light Rail station (W Line).
